Content Trainee (combination of roles) - The job would be part-time (3 months) on project basis in the beginning and based on your work, it could also lead to a full time role!
Job Description:
Role #1. Content Writing
--> Thorough research across topics in Education and coming up with short drafts
--> Structuring and present the matter with a view of the target audience (students, professionals, young learners, etc.)
Role #2. Content Management
--> Curate content and structure into our portals, keeping in mind the consistency and flow
--> Meta-tagging and Linking content which helps in easier access through search engines (SEO)
Role #3. Copy-writing
--> Coming up with brief and crisp content (creativity)
--> Summarize and represent along with pictures and GIFs
--> Drafting course descriptions and outlines
Pre-requisites:
--> Writing interests: Own Blog, Internships or active participation in college projects (One Draft required)
--> Grammar and Vocabulary: Decent command over the language
Mandatory Skills:
--> Attention-to-detail: Ability to scan and bring consistency across the two websites
--> Being Thorough: Ability to structure write-ups, format and manage content effectively
--> Patience and Dealing with Monotony: Willingness to deal with unstructured material and curate/summarize content across diverse topics like Finance, Arts, Foreign Languages, etc.
--> Basic skills on PowerPoint and Word
--> 0-1 year (personal) experience in writing
Desirable Skills:
--> Generalist Background: Graduation in Arts, Media or Literature will be preferred
--> Bent towards Start-ups and Education Sector: Keen to explore and learn more in knowledge management in particular
Pay Package:
--> Ideally Rs. 12-14k per month
--> Performance Evaluation along the first 3 months (Probation period) with a possibility of 10-20% appraisal
Screening Process:
--> Written Draft on an Abstract topic
--> HR interview along with a basic grammar test
--> Interview with the Co-founders
Development Areas (Future Career Path):
Going ahead, we would expect and help you to build some expertise (with relevant training) across areas like:
--> Branding & Social Media Marketing: Posting illustrations and write-ups online with a view to target the right audience, groups and network
--> Flair for design: Adopt to our sense of design and explore other learning avenues
--> Conceptual Understanding: Ability to process complex information and form an opinion on them

Your role would be spread across both our partner firms -
Vlurn - An online marketplace for viewing video courses across various categories (Finance, Arts, IT, Math, etc.) and from the Best Trainers in India. We're setting up a section which allows young learners to browse through simple content about the courses we offer to help them along their decision :)
Gradopedia - An initiative of a 21 (now 22) year old helping fellow graduates align their personalities to the various career option out there and understand what to do next. We're working on videos, articles and quizzes designed to give students a perfect idea about each career option and help them pick one :)
