Overview:
Intern will be involved mainly into primary research bygathering information through questionnaire. Set of questionnaire is already available.

Research includes collecting minimum 1,000 feedback based on the questionnaire from married people in the age group of 25 yrs to 40 yrs and having kids below the age group of 10 yrs. Target audience also include expecting mothers.

Apart from primary research, data points from external sources as well as historical data will be part of the project to understand buying habits of parents for their kid(s).

In addition to gathering, organizing, and updating data, internwill tabulate the collected raw data into excel sheet and summarize the key findings.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
Conduct market research to understand shopping habits of parents in the city
Tabulate the raw data and provide detailed analysis on a weekly basis
Gather internal historical information for the topvendors/ companies in kids industry
Conduct market research by verticals – apparels, footwear, toys, toiletries, activity clubs

Job Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Pursuing BMS (2nd or 3rd year) or MBA in Marketing
Strong analytical skills
Experience in conducting primary research
Go getter, Task-oriented and Self-starter
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a BMS degree or MBA in Marketing

This is a start up company aiming to gain insights into shopping behaviour of parents in Metro cities
