ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Position Summary:- The group provides business information, administration and helpdesk support globally.

Key Accountabilities:-:

  • Information Research
  • Retrieving business / financial related information leveraging from a broad set of resources (e.g. online databases, the internet, print sources, trade associations, etc)
  • Working closely with information staff  globally to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner and quality assurance is maintained at all times


Compliance Responsibilities:-


  • Comply with the ethical standards contained in the Citi Code of Conduct 
  • Ensure that the Private and Confidential information sought during the course of the work should be protected from disclosure. Individual will have an obligation to safeguard Confidential Information from loss or misuse, and to use it only in the performance of his / her employment responsibilities
  • Ability to work in shifts in a fast paced 24x7 operation
  • Basic Financial Knowledge
  • Knowledge of basic information retrieval systems like Factiva and Thomson products
  • Good understanding of different types of business information: i.e. public and private company filing requirements / data, News, M&A and Capital Issues, Fundamentals, Broker Research and Earnings Estimates, Ownership data, etc
  • Strong team player skills, should be able to work collaboratively across teams and share knowledge and information appropriately
  • Must be able to work well under pressure with high level of accuracy and to prioritize workload in order to deliver results to tight deadlines
  • Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgement
  •  Should be able to communicate with global coordinators / teams on a ongoing basis with respect to various projects / assignments

Job Description
• Working in Business Development you will be involved in pitching and
presenting at boardroom level. This will require meticulous planning and
proposal writing.

• Your main area of focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of
creating more opportunities for the organization.

• Business Development involves cold calls, scheduling appointments,
preparing and delivering presentation to the prospective institutions and
corporate companies, for delegate relations and marketing.

• Once sufficiently trained, an opportunity to explore different verticals of
PR, Marketing & Business Management, whilst leading teams based in
different cities

• Maintain regular contact with Key Clients. Effectively communicate with
clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication.

• Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities.

• A Business Developer usually works as part of a team and closely with
other departments within the organisation.

Minimum Requirements
• Eligibility: Marksheet of plus two Examination will be required in case the
prospective student passes the interview stage.

• Prior experience in organizing conferences or events.

• Business Developers need strong communication skills, both in verbal as
well as written skills.

• A Business Developer will need to have strong research, crisis management

Internship openings at Feathercap Inc. - Test Solution Architect

Feathercap is looking for Test Solution Architects on an immediate basis. The role involves designing and implementing test solutions for the new version of the Feathercap Learning Management system. Feathercap is a Saas web-based responsive E-learning application. This internship position is for a 2-month period. This is a remote “work from home” opportunity with weekly meetings at our Norman Point office. A stipend will be provided.

Responsibilities:
Design a test plan for the Feathercap application
Run usability tests of the application on mobiles, tablets and PC’s
Detect defects in the product 
Establish a defect tracking mechanism (JIRA)
Run stress tests against the Product Infrastructure
Migrate and test legacy client data into the newer system

Requirements:
Familiarity with using web-based applications like Coursera, Lynda.com, Skillsoft etc
Technical background is a plus
Programming skills are not a requirement, but would be useful
A laptop and a mobile device with internet connectivity

This role primarily requires the candidate to visualize and handle design activities right from logo design, branding, brochures, banners, posters and collaterals for print & digital media. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with user experience architects, content creators and design teams for creating strong visual graphics 
  • Independently handle projects right from information gathering, co-ordination with copy writers and other stakeholders to deliver the final product with precision

Qualifications:

2 Year Leadership Journey
Gandhi Fellowship provides youth a first-hand experience of social change and develops leadership skills in the process. We at Gandhi Fellowship are training youth to become future Nation Builders to solve the pressing problems that we face today.
The Framework:
The fellow works with 5 Government Schools and their local communities, 5 Headmasters, 50 Teachers and 500 Children bringing about sustainable and visible enhancement in both, the system of school and community at large.
The program is designed for young people to systematically build the competencies of a LEADER. The fellowship provides a context and support for practical, grassroots experiential learning which deepens their understanding of existing systems; challenges their own abilities to find solutions and bring forth their own rigor and perseverance to lead change.
Support:
Gandhi Fellowship encourages peer learning environment. Fellow receives on-site support from a dedicated team of professionals to facilitate in negotiating the problems and come up with solutions. And an endowment of INR Rs.14,000/month with other shared boarding, travelling and communication expenses are borne by the Program.
Eligibility:
The Fellowship is open to anyone who is appearing for their final year examinations of graduation or post-graduation across all disciplines. Young professionals below 25 years can also apply for the Fellowship. Joining will be on 1st July 2015.
