ZIP News is an online media company started by IIT Bombay alums. ZIP News aims to help people know their neighbourhood by giving them the required information and news of what’s happening around them. We are trying to enhance the participation of youth in the present media and journalism by providing hands on experience in media.
Internship Program:
Our Internship program is a very structured and rigorous professional development program intended to provide students with first hand exposure to the problems and their solutions of society from the journalism perspective. The program engages exceptionally motivated students from diverse backgrounds on research projects spanning the following areas:
- Social Research
- Accountability and Responsibility in Journalism
- Improving Quality of Life - Infrastructure, Traffic, Pollution and Basic Necessities
- Improving Accountability, Efficiency and Transparency of Public Offices
- Transforming Journalism Using Social Media
- Strategic and Inclusive Journalism
This program also strives to provide students with a sense of success and accomplishment, which will enhance their self-esteem and interest in their academic subjects and activities.

5000 per month
Duration: 1-4 Month (depending upon the project)
