Apni Shala a not for profit organisation which works for imparting life skills to young children. We are in the process of recruiting Program Manager for the various programs that we implement in and around Mumbai. The Job would be a full time job that would entail the responsibilities as mentioned below.

 Apni Shala is a young and vibrant organisation having its roots in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. It was started by 3 Tata Institute Of Social Sciences alumni in 2013. The organisation has been working towards providing the best experiential learning platforms to children from low income communities helping them develop life skills. Apni Shala believes that development of life skills can help children nurture healthy relationships around them, become problem solvers and confident individuals.Within a period of 2 years Apni Shala has reached out to more than 1200 children in and around Mumbai, partnered with 15 organisations, and conceptualised 3 programs aimed at life skills development in children. The Job Description

Program design, implementation and facilitation

Partnership development and management for the program

Developing and conducting assessments

Reporting and documentation

Ability to work and take sessions with children age 9-13

Sensitivity towards the need of beneficiaries.

Good reading writing skills in English and verbal skills in Marathi & Hindi

Comfortable in travelling across Mumbai

Have experience/Inclination of working with children in formal or non -formal education set-up

The Compensation For the post is Rs2,00,000 - 2,50,000 PA Location would be Mumbai
