About the company - Factory KaMaal is a B2B e-commerce platform for industrial products. Essentially, a 1-stop-shop for all standardized factory supplies. Currently, the market is highly fragmented, unorganized and inefficient. By organizing the supply base, the customers receive better service quality, improved lead times and better product pricing due to the scale and online presence of a new-age and modern distributor.
Such models are popular globally with Grainger (a Fortune 500 company) being the market leader but having a very limited presence in India. The Indian market is very nascent and has recently seen a few players replicate the Grainger model. Industry Buying is one such player and in Feb 2015 raised USD 2mn. in VC funding.

- Operations Role -
- Landscaping the supplier base and identifying unique opportunities
- Developing a vendor acquisition strategy
- Identification and creation of a strong vendor base
- Creating SLAs for all vendors
- Vendor on-boarding and hand-holding
- Defining SOPs for order placements
- Category management and cataloging
- Logistics, warehousing and supply chain management
Pay Scale - Initially, this will not be comparable to industry standards but is performance linked and will increase significantly for dedicated people.
